TERMS OF USE / ONENYM
Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms describe the basic conditions for using the website and services provided by ReceiptRoller Inc. under the OneNym.id brand. The actual scope of service is set out in separately agreed contracts and orders.
1. Scope and operator
ReceiptRoller Inc. operates this website and the services. These terms describe basic conditions for the website, contract portal, and OneNym services supplied under a separate agreement. Browsing the site or sending an inquiry does not, by itself, place a paid order or create a payment obligation.
2. Agreements and service scope
Agreed orders, contracts, and service schedules set out features, deployment, data, start dates, support, fees, responsibilities, data-processing terms, and end-of-service arrangements. Applicable individual agreements take precedence over conflicting provisions here.
For purchases through Azure Marketplace or another marketplace, the applicable marketplace transaction terms agreed by the parties also apply. Posting this page does not accept or amend a particular standard contract. Technical explanations and architecture examples do not mean every feature, certification, or SLA is included in every contract.
3. Accounts and access
Anyone ordering on behalf of an organization must have the authority to do so and provide accurate registration information. Manage sign-in credentials, API credentials, integration endpoints, and user permissions appropriately and promptly report suspected compromise or misuse.
Successful sign-in, possession of a proxy ID, or a marketplace purchase alone does not authorize access to all Vault data. Access is subject to conditions such as subscription status, tenant, record, fields, permitted use, and expiry.
4. Customer data and lawful use
Customers must have the necessary authority and lawful basis for data they submit or process, including required notices and procedures for the individuals concerned. We process data within the role and scope of the individual agreement; ownership of customer data is not transferred to us.
Confirm supported data and processing in your contract. Do not submit identity images or other data merely because they appear in design examples if support has not been agreed. Customer-side inputs, integrations, retrieved plaintext, and internal copies are managed according to the agreed allocation of responsibilities.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not access systems without authorization, obtain another tenant’s data, bypass permissions or subscription restrictions, misuse credentials, create disruptive load, transmit malware, submit unlawful data, infringe others’ rights, or use the service outside the agreed purposes.
Resale, shared credentials, or delegated use are permitted only within the contractually authorized scope. If you find a defect or vulnerability, contact us rather than exploiting it or publicly disclosing sensitive details.
7. Fees, billing, and cancellation
Fees, taxes, payment dates, term, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the applicable order and agreement. Marketplace billing and cancellation follow the procedures for that transaction. General website descriptions do not establish a universal refund policy or cancellation date.
Free previews and demos follow the relevant plan or agreement. A demo does not guarantee live deployment, performance, or production service terms.
8. Suspension, termination, and data
Access may be restricted in accordance with the applicable agreement and law following subscription suspension or termination, payment issues, serious misuse, security needs, or legal requirements. Except in emergencies, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond where reasonably possible.
Access suspension and data deletion are separate processes. Arrange required returns or exports before termination. Retention, deletion, backups, and audit records follow the individually agreed procedures.
9. Intellectual property
We or the relevant rights holders retain rights in OneNym software, documentation, designs, and trademarks. Usage rights are limited to the agreement and do not transfer ownership. Open-source components and third-party services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
Customers or their rights holders retain rights in submitted data and materials. We use them only as needed to supply the contracted service.
10. Security limitations and responsibility
Encryption, proxy IDs, and access controls reduce risk; they do not guarantee the absence of breaches, unauthorized access, or outages. Retrieved plaintext, broad customer-side permissions, stolen credentials, and compromised decryption paths require additional controls. Assessment findings are limited to the agreed scope, time, and methods.
Warranties, SLAs, incident response, and liability are governed by applicable law and the individual agreement. These terms do not waive or limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
11. Changes to services and terms
Website content and service specifications may be updated. Material changes to contracted scope, pricing, or data handling follow the agreement and applicable law.
If these terms change, we will communicate the changes and their effective date appropriately. Browsing or continued use alone will not be treated as supplying consent where law or contract requires a specific agreement.
12. Governing law and questions
Unless an individual agreement provides otherwise, these terms are governed by Japanese law, without displacing mandatory rights under applicable law. The parties will first seek to resolve questions or disputes in good faith; jurisdiction and other dispute terms follow applicable law or the individual agreement.
Use the OneNym contact form for questions. If the Japanese and English versions differ, the Japanese version is the reference unless an individual agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.
